The 2008 reunion was held May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in Sterling Virginia ( a suburb of Washington D.C. ) and was hosted by Alumni Committee member Lou Pizzarello.

Accommodations were at the Holiday Inn Dulles.

Activities included:

Friday May 2nd :

11AM: A guided tour of The White House followed by lots of free time for sightseeing,

  6PM: A Cocktail &  horse hors d'oervts, get together at the hotel.

Saturday May 3rd :

11 AM: An extremely in-depth guided tour of the The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center of  The National Air & Space Museum ( http://www.nasm.si.edu/udvarhazy/ ) by former 456FIS pilot Col. Fred Williams, US Air Force Retired.

   6PM:  Our reunion dinner, awards, recognition, and memorial ceremonies, were held in the hotel banquet room.

Sunday MAY 4th :

  7 AM Farewell breakfast & long good-bys, in the hotel banquet room.

		Unfortunately Fri. afternoon while sightseeing after the  White House tour, Karen Kuntz fell on the Capital Building steppes, breaking her right wrist and forearm, and severely dislocating her left shoulder.  She was taken to the hospital where they reset her shoulder, and operated on her right wrist and arm  She remained in the hospital till Wed, May 7. before being released to go home to Marietta, GA.
