In 1919 in Germany  Rudolf von Sebottendorf (occultist), Karl Haushofer (occultist, officer and ‘Japanphile’) and Dietrich Eckhard  founded the esoterically oriented  Thule Society. From this group the “Vril" Society very early split off,  aiming at the utilization of alternative energies and new fuel technologies.  Late in 1919 a meeting of a small group of Vril and Thule followers took place, among whose participants were  Dr. Edu. Schumann (alternative energies) as well as the Russian medium Maria Ortisch and the medium Sigrun.  Maria Ortisch presented ‘received’ messages in the ancient Syrian language, that as well as an exact description of the planet system Aldebaran and its inhabitants, contained precise construction plans for so-called "Jenseitsflugzeug".  The Vril Society began with the construction of this aircraft and experimented with it for two years.  The Jenseitsflugzeug had  a so-called  Vril Levitations propulsion system, a drive based on anti-gravity.  It was dismantled in 1924 and then warehoused in Augsburg.

According to reports, the Vril Society by mid 1934 created the "RFZ 1", the first anti-gravity propulsed experimental disc aircraft. The builder was Dr. Schumann and an engineer from Bochum.

So-called VRIL-Flugscheiben, said to be further developments of other Rundflugzeuge, built in parallel by Schriever/Habermohl. If these German UFOs did not exist, who has deliberately faked the 3 dozen available photographs? Why was their authenticity not subjected to the same kind of in-depth scrutiny as other UFO photos world-wide?

Before the end of 1934, a new functioning round aircraft, the "RFZ 2" with an improved Vril drive and a magnetic impulse control was constructed.  This had a diameter of 5 meters. With increasing speed, it displayed an optical blurring of its contours and a colored illumination, according to velocity level, of  red, orange, green, blue, yellow and white.  Since the end of 1940 this small Vril "RFZ 2" performed  service in long distance reconnaissance

From another esoteric group, the "Schwarze Sonne" the special department ”SSI4” emerged, that developed the ‘Thule Engine’ out of different Vril components and a tachionator.  By the end of 1938 the propeller driven disc aircraft "RFZ 4" was constructed, and in 1939 the " RFZ 5", called "Haunebu 1".  This had a diameter of 20 meters and was probably launched in August  1939.

In the winter of 1942, a new disc aircraft circled over the Vril terrain: the "Vril 1".  It was a single seater  and had a diameter of 11 meters.  It was armed with three MK-108 30 mm calibers and two MG 17. In the meantime there already were concrete plans for the building of the "Vril 7", compared to which the attempts by Miethe, Bellonzo, Schriever and Habermohl appeared quite conventional.

Apparently at the end of 1942 the SSI4 began the construction of an improved disc aircraft, the "Haunebu 2".  It was of 26 - 31 meter in diameters and 9 - 11 meters high.  The top speed in earth vicinity was said to be more than 6,000 km/h. The "Haunebu 2" was claimed to be fully  capable of extra-terrestrial flight..  Some models already had mountings for the ‘Donar  Strahlengeschütze’ being held in readiness.

On paper at least, there were further developments of the Haunebu ships that had diameters over 120 meters.  It is said there was also a 71 meter diameter "Haunebu 3" in actual fact.  Just shortly before the end of the war, the SSI4 also planned also the construction of a gigantic Haunebu mother-ship, the "Andromeda-Gerät". It was to be built in the former Zeppelin Werke.  With the Vri anti-gravity drives, several tons of weight would not have been a difficulty.  .

During the war the disc aircraft "Side" was constructed for experimental purposes, but it only had a conventional propulsion system drive.

Simultaneously to these developments, Viktor Schauberger began development of his experimental flight “Flugkreisel”, that also were to fly with a levitation drive.

According to a report by the Flugzeugkonstruktör Andreas Epp, he had been transporting torpedoes during the World War, and using this opportunity sent the model of a disc aircraft to the Reichsluftfahrtsministerium in Berlin. From there it  was given to Schriever and Habermohl in Peenemünde and was tested there.  Schriever rebuilt this flight disc according to his own specifications while Habermohl complied with the construction plans.

A 42 meter in diameter flight disc was constructed in Breslau by Miethe and Bell. It was to be flown to  Spitzbergen on a directional beam, but crash landed there and was  unable to return.

During a drive outside of Prague Andreas Epp was able to observe one of these flight discs during a test flight.

A Schriever-Habermohl Flugkreisel construction was undertaken in July 1941; a vertically starting ‘Rundflugzeug’ with jet propulsion.  The first test flights began by the end of 1942, however stark deficiencies appeared in the first model.

Dr. Richard Miethe also worked in 1942 on the "RFZ 7 T. Giuseppe Bellonzo joined this project later, and  Schriever and Habermohl as well become part of the team.

On 17 April 1945, Richard Miethe reported to Adolf Hitler:

On this day under my direction and in the presence of three Luftwaffe officers the ‘Vergeltungswaffe 7’ was test flown in the Baltic skies.

The "V 7" was an ultrasonic helicopter that was equipped with 12 Turboaggregat BMWS 028.  In its first test flight, it reached a height of 23,800 meters, in the second ascent even 24,200 meter.  It could also be powered by unorthodox energy sources.

Prof. J. Hurtak had insights into the post-war operation "Paperclip" that had the task of making German knowledge of high technologies accessibly for the Americans, whereby plans and scientists e.g. Wernher von Braun were brought to the US. According to his report, he had insight into documents, that detailed the construction of a space city "Peenemünde" as well as into the exact plans for the "Foo-Fighter" - a small luminous flying disc which was experimented with during the war.

The so-called "Schildkröte", a foo-fighter of the 40's and a painting by  Jim Nichols in 1990 of a "secret saucer at Area 51"

The typical "Foo-Fighter" was named "Fliegende Schildkröte"  [flying turtle] by the Germans and was developed in Wiener Neustadt  by a  technical group of the SS. They were unmanned flight probes, that were to fly in the proximity of hostile airplanes and create electronic interference.  For this a type of Klystron tube was utilized, the "Todesstrahler".  These probes were extremely maneuverable and glowed brightly in different colors.

What happened to these ‘Flugscheiben’?

One version maintains, that they were sunk in the Austrian Mondsee, another version maintains the UFOs were hidden in South America and Antarctica.

In 1938 a German Antarctic Expedition was launched, whereby the aircraft carrier "Schwabenland"  acting under orders of Hermann Göring was to claim land in the Antarctic [Neu-Schwabenland, a mostly ice-free and habitable region]. Whole fleets of U-Boots are said to have sailed for Neu Schwabenland, among them the most modern types 21 and 23. Were the "Vril" and "Haunebu" flight discs brought to secret U-boat-bases?

Since then 30 German submarines are missing.  At the end of the war they sailed from the Baltic Sea harbors.  These U-Boots were equipped with the Walter-Schnorchelsystem, which allowed the boats to remain submerged for several weeks under water and made them the best submarines in the world.

Admiral Richard Evelyn Byrd, who already in 1926 flew over the North Pole and on November 29, 1929 became the first to fly over the Antarctica and during 1933-35 and 1939-41 undertook Antarctic expeditions, started out in 1946-47 with a warship, an aircraft carrier including a supply ship, a submarine and 4000 men – the largest Antarctic mission so far – officially to conduct surveys. Yet after a few days and a never revealed number of airplane losses the mission was broken off. What had occurred? What power was so quickly able to repel this expedition when there were unlimited means and provisions for more than 8 months available? Admiral Byrd stated to the press afterwards that in case of another World War, the cruel reality was that one had to count on aircraft that could fly from Pole to Pole.

JFM Jenseitsflugmachine

As already mentioned, the mediums  Maria Ortisch and Sigrun not only received the first construction drawings of the "Jenseitsflugzeug", but also detailed information about the Aldebaran system.  Accordingly, its sun is circled by of two inhabited planets, both together forming the Sumerian Empire, of which the ‘received’ maps are still said to be in existence.

On the 3rd and 4th of January 1944 a conference with Hitler and Himmer is said to have taken place,  which it concerned the Vril-project.  One of the Vrils ships was to be sent to Aldebaran through a "dimension canal".  Were the  flight discs hidden that way? Or, as some claim, did these Flugscheiben fly through time and emerge again in ancient Syria?

Many films or publications that deal with these matters are classified as Nazi-related and so withheld from the general public.  Obviously these rumors may be highly exaggerated or be deliberate disinformation, but………

In reply Rob Arndt writes:

Vril did not start work on the RFZ series of discs until 1937 - not 1934. I know this as fact because the fallow land surrounding Arado-Brandenberg was not purchased by Vril until 1937 for the flight testing of their machines.

This is further proven by the description of the RFZ-1 flight of 1937 with an Ar-196 tail plane. The Ar-196 was not even built in 1934! It was built in 36/37.

Secondly, the SS "Black Sun" was not only an "official" SS religious order first, but the Entwickstellung IV/V groups were derived from it for the sole development of alternative energies... which led to their direct participation with the Thule Gesellschaft on the Haunebu(rg) project of 1935-1939 which produced the Thule Triebwerke (Tachyonator 7a) by 1939.

It is very important to accurately provide a credible timeline for the development of the SS Technical Branch disc aircraft in co-operation with both the Thule and Vril Gesellschafts.

Third, there is no such thing as the SS Schildkröte, it was an April fool's joke in a German modeling magazine back in the 1970s. The SS oversaw developments at the Italian aeronautical facility at Riva del Garda during the war and it is perhaps Guiseppe Belluzzo's "Turboproietti" that "might' have been labeled a Schildkröte (turtle) due to its circular flying bomb design - but that is not proven.

No "Foo Fighter" was ever labeled a Schildkröte in the same way that the V-7 weapon connected to Dr. Miethe was never a flak mine, nor piloted. The "Foo Fighters" were 4 separate German weapons that Allied Intel has mixed into one generic term that has confused millions of people. They are, however, officially designated in declassified intelligence reports as "Phoo Bombs".

The 4 Foo Fighters are actually:

1) AEG Kugelwaffen (Ball Weapons - sphericals)

2) WNF Feuerball (Fireball - ovoid weapon)

3) Seifenblasen (Soap Bubbles - SS version of Kriegsmarine Aphrodita anti-radar balloon decoy)

4) Zeppelin-Werke Kugelblitz (Ball Lightning - manned disc a/c with Messerschmitt electrostatic field weapon)

This is the difference between my accurate description and basis through chronological research as well as declassified Allied USAAF and US Army Intel sources.

For years rumours had been flying round that the Germans had been fully aware of the foo-fighter phenomenon and that they had a special study group formed to look into the problem under the name of "Project Uranus," backed by a shadowy group by the name of Sonderbüro 13 (reminds you of Majestic 12 doesn't it?).

This was first detailed in La Livres Noir De Soucupes Volantes (The Black Book of Flying Saucers - 1970) by French ufologist Henry Durrant. The rumour spread in Europe and eventually took physical form in the English language in Tim Good's acclaimed book `Above Top Secret' where it is used to help substantiate further vague rumours of an Anglo/American foo-fighter study. Good had not checked his facts and had in fact just copied the information direct from Durrant's book.

When this was checked out with Durrant he said that the whole "Project Uranus" affair was a hoax which he had inserted in his book precisely to see who would copy it without checking. The hoax apparently had been revealed in France some years before but hadn't percolated its way through to English speaking ufologists. Perhaps other foo hoaxes await discovery.

The History Of UFOs

During World War II the accumulation of sightings of mysterious celestial objects, finally started to worry the military authorities.

In both camps, high-ranking officials of the intelligence services started to study these strange objects and investigation committees composed of military and scientific personnel were set up in various countries. They had a double purpose: first of all to determine the nature of these flying objects and then to see if they constituted a threat to the security of the nation.

During World War II, the Allies, just like the Germans, noticed the presence of these enigmatic flying objects above their secret bases. The first reaction of each side was obviously to suspect espionage on the part of their enemy.

In 1943 the English were the first to set up a special group to enquire into the question of these object.  The British set up a small organization to collect evidence. It was headed by Lieutenant General Massey and was inspired y reports from a spy who, in fact was a double agent operating under the orders of the Mayor of Cologne. He had confirmed that the "Foo-fighters" were not German devices, but that the Germans thought that they were Allied weapons which, of course, the British knew was not so.

Later in 1966, was learned from the British Aviation Minister that project Massey had been officially classified in 1944. Perhaps it was pure coincidence, but the double agent was denounced and executed at the beginning of that year. For their part the Germans did not remain inactive. But in 1944, the Wehrmacht asked Oberkommando of the "Luftwaffe (aviation)" to set up a center to collect information on all the various sightings of these mysterious celestial object.

This was known as Sonderbüro No 13 which, until the time of the German defeat scrupulously applied itself to its job. The short time that this commission was in existence prevented it from coming to any definite conclusions, but it collected an impressive amount of information.

The first sighting, studied by the Sonderbüro, went back two year and came from a Hauptmann Fischer, an engineer in civil life. On
March 14,1942, at 5:35 p.m., Fischer landed at the secret air base at Banak, in Norway.

At that instant the radar picked up a luminous object and Fischer was asked to go up and identify it.  At about 10,000 feet the pilot caught sight of the object, and gave a description by radio to the base: an enormous streamlined craft about 300 feet long and about 50 feet in diameter. The aerial whale which was Fischer's title for it stayed horizontal for a long moment before rising vertically and disappearing at great speed.

It was not a machine constructed by the hand of man, Fischer stated in his report. On reading the report, Air Marshall Hermann Göring concluded that the solitude of the north does not seem to have done much for this pilot. The report of another interesting incident was carefully preserved in the archives of the German Investigation Committee: that of the launching of an experimental rocket on
February 12, 1944
, at the Kummersdorf test center.

On that day the Minister of Propaganda, Josef Göbbels, S.S. Reichsführer Himmler and S.S. Gruppenführer Heinz (sic) Kammler were present at the launching which was being filmed.

Some days later the authorities at the base organized a showing of the film. The astonished spectators, could see very clearly a spherical body which followed the rocket and circled around it.

The authorities immediately suspected Allied espionage. However, an agent informed Himmler that the English were themselves victims of the same sort of phenomenon and thought that it was a new type of German prototype craft. However, the most convincing evidence filed away by the Sonderbüro came from a military flying ace.

On
September 29, 1944, at 10:45 a.m., a test pilot was trying out a new Messerschmitt jet, ME 262 Schwalbe, when his attention was suddenly caught by two luminous points situated on his right. He shot at full speed in that direction and found himself face to face with a cylindrical object, more than three hundred feet long with some openings along its side, and fitted with long antennae placed in front up to about halfway along its length. Having approached within about 1,500 feet of the craft the pilot was amazed to see that it was moving at a speed of more than 1,200 m.p.h.
