Completed three years college and entered military service on May 13, 1940 at Atlanta, Georgia.  Completed Bombardier and Navigator training in April, 1941.  After the Tokyo Raid he served in North Africa.  Killed in Action on April 5, 1943 over Italy.  Decorations include the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Purple Heart, and the Chinese Army, Navy, and Air Corps Medal, Class A, 1st Grade.

Born November 10, 1919, Clermont, Georgia
Killed in Action, April 5, 1943 over Italy
