Co-Pilot Crew 2Graduated from Ball High School in Galveston Texas in 1931. Graduated from University of Texas with Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Entered service in November, 1940 at Houston, Texas. Graduated from Advanced Flying School, Stockton, California as Pilot and commissioned as Second Lieutenant, July 1941. After Tokyo Raid remained in the China-Burma-India Theater until June, 1943. Served as test pilot and maintenance officer at Brookley Field, Alabama until release from active duty in July, 1946. Decorations include the Distinguished Flying Cross, and Chinese Army, Navy, Air Corps Medal, Class A, 1st Grade.
