After Doolittle Raid, attended pilot training and received wings and commission on July 28, 1943. Served as B-25 pilot in Southwest Pacific. Separated from service July, 1945. Decorations include Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, and Chinese Army, Navy, and Air Corps Medal, Class A, 1st Grade.
