Attended Santa Monica California Junior College two years.  Entered service May, 1940 at March Field, California.  Commissioned and rated as navigator in June, 1941.  After Tokyo Raid, flew 50 missions in ETO between September, 1942 and March, 1944.  Released from active duty, August, 1948.  Decorations include Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 7 Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Chinese Army, Navy, and Air Corps Medal, Class A, 1st Grade.
