In May 1965 my shop decided to creat and display an identifing sign in front of our building. The powers that be decided to hold a contest to see could come up with the best design and then station it outside the front door. Several people created a wide verity of designs and mine was selected, ( They then told me that I had to build and erect it.) I had to scavenge all over the base for limber, paint, etc. Here is the result.

In December Of 1965 I helped create a Christmas display that was placed along the entry drive at the front gate. There were several displays along the roadway from all of the different groups on the base. Ours was a 10 foot high 3-D Christmas Card replica made of wood that unfolded outwardly. It had an F-106 flying over a town dropping packages attached to Parachutes. It was all beautifully lit up and part of the backdrop were moving parachutes dropping from the plane.
